I read this first in the 'Independent'. Utterly horrifyng, both the deed and the judgement. There is something very, very wrong in a world where this is allowed.

You are so right there is no guilt in animals. This is a Satanic human being who should be killed, slowly. Thank you for writing what you do. I am simply sick at reading this; however, I do know of this sort of behavior and know we will be staring it in the face before long because of our incredibly liberal agendas. Thank you this truly makes me sick.

It amazes me how folks are ready to jump through hoops for something that happens everyday around the world, and yes even by the so called followers of Christ, but they will not take the time to educate themselves in the history of their country, or the world. If they did they would know from what happened to Germany after world war one is now happening to America as we continue to print money that is backed by nothing and the extra money they spend at the grocery store each week never seems to sink in to their programed minds...But it will soon enough and when it does everything will change everywhere.

So heartbreaking and disgusting, takes my breath away..
I carry everlasting shame as an American because of my government's coddling and enabling the royalty of Saudi Arabia, no matter their horrendous human rights abuses of women and children, no matter that most of the 9-11 murderers were Saudi nationalists..Nothing but nothing trumps oil contracts...

Is there anything in the Koran along the lines of "an eye for an eye?" If there were, then this man should be beaten and burned by anyone angered by this deplorable act, and in a public square too! Yeah, yeah, I know . . . "vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord." But isn't this a little ridiculous? How do you prevent such acts from ever happening again? And anyone who uses the word civilized to describe these people is a bigger fool than they are!

This is such a cruel incident! Blood money? Really? Those in power who make such inane decisions drive me insane! The man should have been hung in an open area and left for the scavengers for that is what he is in my opinion! So young and so defiled and no justice either! Sickens me to no end! sam

"What can I do, where do I write, go, call ... how can I do something to stop something this horrible to happen again" Those are the first things I thought thorugh tears while reading your post... many other useless thoughts followed and then this anger that is not new but that is gone from simmering to a healthy boil... Needless to say I will write anyone I can think of, call and research what I can do... and I am sure it will probably won't be much but whatever it is at least I will try, I have to...
