But how great was that? Finding the match so far away in a thrift shop. It was sitting there waiting, just for you!! The gas will be worth it.

It seems that I have moved a lot in my lifetime, but always within the same city. I cannot imagine trying to move 1600 miles away, though one of my sisters has managed to do that many times.

I agree with you - white is like a blank canvas, you can do anything with it, even if you decide later you'd like it purple...

Hey, a bargain is a bargain, no matter where the source. One man's junk . . .

Re: Sam,
Right now, the trick is to not find too many awesome deals!

Re:Pat,
What I like about white walls is all the stuff I can do around them. Not bloody much I can do with pink. Bright, chewed-bubblegum, pepto bismol, candy pink. Pink is good in the sky, lovely in flowers... I can appreciated in a little twist of ribbon. But I am not a fan of pink.
If it's blues and greens I want, I would rather put an aquarium in the room.
Bland is a great starting place!
I just can't see african masks on a pink wall.

Getting into your place is similar to mine, always a delay of some sort! Have fun at the thrift stores and I hope you find awesome deals! sam
