Oh dear - another person not paying attention until someone's heart is hurt. Sometimes it's not so easy to make it back. You tell it well in the poem, C.C.  I check out any charity before contribution, after reading about the steep salaries the administators of some of those charities pay themselves!

I would be shocked to discover you were/are? a woman, CC..:)

The poem is gorgeous! Reads to me as a high powered relationship seeking a dimension and depth of simplicity and home to recover the heart...

Re:

Eek Sam, I criticised your gardening blog this morning, not you of course, as you printed in good faith and for all I know clay pots are all over the place where you live here they are like hens teeth and I was thinking it applied over here. Not very bright in the morning, I humbly apologise.

Re: It never occurred to me you could be a woman,

Well that is a nice description Pat, perhaps  they are words a woman would like to hear.

It never occurred to me you could be a woman,

writing romantic poetry from a male point of view, it always seemed to me. Besides I looked up your "about me" posting. I like the moonlight poem,  it's like a waltz in one of the grand ballrooms where a mirrored ball sparkles in the center and the light is low enough to flatter.
