I do not understand how anyone can follow a man like that... Well I can understand men following his teachings if those teachings allowed them to have as many women as they wanted and do whatever they chose to do as long as it was done in the name of Allah... but the women?  The women raised those men.  They installed into their minds the moral principles they were to follow... didn't they?  How could they conform to such savagery and perpetuate it...

"We must remember the high rate of illiteracy in many parts of the of the Islamic world, and the fact that millions of non-Arabic speakers have memorized something of which they don’t understand a word."

I can't say much except that Catholicism couldn't be understood years ago either, being that wording was Latin.Seems to me three religions came from the same place really. Well I think so anyway.

Was there a time in history where 'Religion' just came to life in much the same way for the same reason, control of humanity or something.?
