I would imagine it was a bit of a job making out reports in those conditions Naut. good sea legs needed.

I am glad that you explained the squeal...and it adds life to the tale

by writing it in. I can see the frantic work envolved and then the sudden calm the breeze probably welcome after such intense activity. Loving this, you Old man Of the Sea you!

Yes my friend I have enjoyed this series immensely, and am happy you explained about that squid 'talk'. LOL You had tremendous character and strength of mind to take on such a job, I admire you pard.

When deep sea fishing out by Catolina Island we used squid for bait, I felt bad for them then too.
