I have never tasted squid Naut , one does not like to think of the catching of any thing, but it is a fact of life. You really plonk us down amid the action. A bit rough on those boats in storms I would imagine.

that is a great night time picture and I am wondering how many nights
there was more than one catch. I love baby squid ...cooked Greek style of course.

You have made this scene come to life for us with you wonderful talent for the written word. It is rather a sad tale in a way, but a nation must eat. I remember dipping dried squid tentacles into a nice warm soy sauce between beers in the Okinawan bars, like we over here snack on peanuts between beers.
