If I had that aquarium, I would be sitting in front of it all day in a trance watching them lazily swim about.

Our dog Davy loooves the water bottle! He jumps and dances, trying to bite the water! You should have seen him one day with a spritzing lawn-waterer thing! How he danced and yipped and bit, until he was soaking wet from nose to tail!

LOL...but yes of course all that hat making yarn....Mr Graysome loves the water bottle. He will deliberately annoy Wiley to get squirted and then have the excuse to roar around the house. Sigh! but I am happy that beautiful fish is safe.

His coloring changes, too, with the light source. I love when sunlight comes through the tank and lights em up!

See, that's the problem right there... So many of these guys are pretty! I passed up the pale aqua, irridescent one, in favor of this one. I wonder if that one is still there...

All kinds of things make a better betta home. I like to give them an interesting environment. I've heard that in nature, they live in very small bodies of water, more puddle than pond.

I'd like to have an actual aquarium again, like what you had in ages past.

The kitties don't fish... when they consider it, they get hit out of nowhere with a thin cold stream of water from a handy water bottle, and turn their thoughts to other pursuits. The balls of yarn around here, for instance...

Very pretty, but I don't think the coloring on my computer does him justice. Probably a lot more spectacular in person!
