Indeed it will if they live long enough to pester their kids enough to make the move. We once had to get rid of a badger once, it kept digging in the irrigation ditches and in the desert...Well he is gone now.

Missed your flowers Bro, lovely carnation. No warm weather here, snow, wind cold. A touch of sun through the grey mist and white snow is all now and then. I agree with the culling of animals backed up by sensible reasoning. Yes, cruelty to old people is bad here as well, and I pray that doesn't happen to us Bro. Be well,Thanks for your comment in my post my friend.

Love this post...all of it...and we have the same concept of
commonsense when it comes to animals the elderly, actually any and everthing in our care. And when I was running the Nursing home I was proud of how the elderly very often improved in health under my care. less medications, better skin care regular bathing and lots of nutritional food, to say nothing about social discourse and intergration.

I like your method of culling! I also agree that those who work with nursing home clients should remember that one day it will be their turn. And I like the poem, especially the ending. And I like the pretty flower. I guess you're on my 'Like List' today, CCT!

Our spring in Maryland started February last year, and I know that it was tough on the farmers and gardeners...A clever tribut you got there.
