It is amazing what today's technology enables us to do...I am learning a lot about the Japenese and their ways...I wonder what causd their snickering.

You had pronounced words in a way that meant something completely different from what you wanted to say? It happened to me often when starting to speak French - sometimes hilarious, sometimes downright embarrassing! Love the way you express your love for the sea....

I understand the sense of being one with the sea, and its fascination.

This is a very interesting post. I love the sea, our lakes and any large bodies of water; however, I think my love would be more like coming from my Mother's womb than the sea. Good posts on this blog.

I guess they all spoke English....LOL...but really i wanted to comment on

your feelings of the sea for I share them. I too feel that I came from the sea and I miss her so that it aches. Walking in the shallows racing the waves as they race up the sand on the incoming tide. Standing on a ship and watching where sea and sky meld together with the swish of the boat pushing through the waves...well i am no good if it gets too rough so I will leave that. LOl
