I believe that zest is one of those things that, even if "lost" for a while, you can still get it back! Well, go get it . . . !

TAPS
Judging by your writings, you haven't lost anything - it may just be a tinge of the winter blues, or SAD as it's now called, since very damn thing needs an acronym these days...

darling we who are older here on blogit can always read of each other's
past hobbies, ups and downs families etc and etc.we forget what we did 5 minutes ago let alone what we read last year. So write on with your memories, your posts are always great, even just picturea and what your Grandchilfren are doing. I have looked and looked at Telly Tubby Phill and Dad and really feel happy every time that I think of those two and their brave journey together.

Pete Rose the retired ball player says much the same thing...and physically he still looks like he could play (and hopefully not cheat).

Re: TAPS,
Remember when we were children, and loved to hear a favorite story over and over...? Now, we are getting on, it's the opposite: we love to tell a favorite story over and over.

The zest is in the heart, but the body too tired to follow up. Or maybe that's the way it is supposed to be, TAPS. At one point, it's time to pass what we know on to the younger generation, and it doesn't matter how many times we say it. After all, repetition is learning, is it not?
