Ummmm
Tell your cat to get busy and catch that mouse! Failing that try peanut butter on the trap... it has worked for me.

We had a mouse problem when we lived abroad and the only thing that worked was traps, but not the ones that snap and catch the poor mice and kill them... Mice are too smart for those and if one gets causht they do not go near another one. We got the ones that are like a little box and the door snaps closed after the mouse is way inside ... I guess they htought it was a condo or something loll... we placed cheese and cookies inside :-) If I tell you we caught more than 12 I am not lying to you. But after that and of course a thorow search for holes they could use to get inside the flat ( and ofcourse closing those entrances) we got rid of them. They say that if you see one you have at least a dozen! and the longer you let the problem go unsolved the worse it gets because they have a whole bunch of babies every time and get pregnant very often. SO, if I were you I would first of all search all over the house for holes in the baseboards, walls, even if you have any fixtures like sconces or chandeliers and the hole of the wires is too large... Check or have someone else check behind the cabinets where the drawer you saw the droppings in is... sometime there are holes behind those) Behind the dishwasher as well and seal around the pipes where they come in and go out. Anyway, after you have closed their entrances then place the traps to catch the ones that are already in. Good luck :-) xoxoxo

Peanut Butter in the trap is the answer. Mice are crazy for it and they eat a bit and eat a bit more and then 'WHAM' they dead.

I guess anyone can get addicted to chocolate these days! Hopefully your methods of using various repellents eventually work! It's obvious that the cat isn't!
