Now ya pulled one of your fast ones there. I kept waiting for some squid, or the ship, or how you fell overboard and caught a squid in your teeth, but noooooo, tomatoes is all. LOL

I wonder where your tomatoes from. We can't get any good ones in the winter here. I love tomatoes.

I've seen a few people like that in the grocery store, touching and analyzing the produce...I used to not like tomatoes but now find them okay in salads.

As we all know ( or should know ) any fruit or vegetable is good for you. Personally, I really don't care for the taste of tomatos, but I do know of their health benefits, so I try to have them either in a salad, or on a sandwich. By themselves, their flavor is difficult for me to actually enjoy. But in a salad or on a sandwich, they're great!

MI had no flies in the vegetable garden. Ha they liked the patio and the flowers there as did a couple beautiful dragonflies (harmless slug eating insects). In the vegetable garden I had aphids and slugs (leaves). I used organic insecticide, slug traps, and hand picked the slugs. When I was young there were tomato worms there. For caterpillars I used the bacterial spray or dust. I had to watch for flies in storage in the garage.BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Naut I feel I could squash a tomato on their head. Look but do not squeeze. Sadly most tomatoes are picked for sale slightly under ripe as are bananas , so one never savours the delight of a freshly picked tom. We had a presenter who was bragging on a gardening show that his tomatoes in the greenhouse were not affected by the dreaded potato blight he
had to admit the next day that they had succumbed. No sir growing outside is a risky operation in this damp Island. I however have bought next year's seeds and hope for that unique taste from the vine. I am always wary of Tom cats peeing on them outside.

I love the idea of having the dispenser to clean the tomatoes! You made my day, I can start thinking about the kinds of tomatoes I want to grow this summer! I hope you do, too! sam

LOL! One of my favorite foods too, Nautikos. I also leave them on the counter in a small wicker basket instead of putting them in the fridge - I can eat them like one would an apple.
