Unfortunately, that's just the way it is. That's why, on television, I usually just watch sports! A terrific diversion . . .

I rather think you are right. As a society we have evolved to supply our own bread and circuses

all I know is that I am thankful for Blogit to browse when I am sitting
around. The Television is off because I can't take any more diversity and hate and plain bad news.

Could be that a lot of people don't know what they want,
that will lead them to happiness. Maybe it is... a giant CHEETO! I mean, a regular cheeto can bring me a bit of happiness. And it is so much simpler than the big things I think I want.

TAPS...
Yes, I agree...the real world with all its horrors overwhelms us...the news is depressing, so we take a Cheeto and enshrine it...goofy?...yes, but no wonder.

You may be right, TAPS, but when we start using huge Cheetos for diversion, it is time to take a long, hard look at our lifestyle!

Oh, darn. Now I'll be thinking of Cheetos the rest of the day...
And they are not on my approved list because of the salt. :( Thought provoking post about diversion, Taps.
