Re: Naut,
I bear in mind your shoulder tribulations and those of another Canadian friend of mine whose experience was even more distressing, and still goes on because of a bad diagnosis in the beginning, and being directed to physical therapy before it was actually correctly diagnosed with actual tests, and thereby damaging the surrounding tissues something fierce.
For now, I have several illustrated pages of exercises, and after a couple of months, will see what's what.

Re: Kabu, thanks--
I will add that to the pages of exercises the doc printed out for me-- a doc.doc?

Re: JimmyA,
I completely agree. One of my questions yesterday was how to avoid more damage. He suggests, if you are doing something that hurts a lot... stop.

I can't give you many good tips other than one: do not neglect you shoulder! I know that from experience! Oh, and here's another one after all: sometimes a good therapist is better than a doctor...

Sounds like you need a Scan on that shoulder be sure and some physiotherapy
An old nursing tip....Get a can of soup..hold it in the hand for the bad shoulder. Bend the elbow and turn the lower arm to front and to back up to 10 times. Do this daily and shoulder will be better.

Needless to say, any persistent pain is your body's way of telling you that something is definitely wrong! Better to have it checked from all angles than to take the chance of risking permanent damage! Best of luck!
