This made me think of the movie, The African Queen, and how Kathryn Hepburn made her a little room on deck by hanging things and wouldn't let Humphrey Bogart in out of the rain.  LOL

Y'know, there's just some traditional male domain I'm perfectly content

Actually that sort of mindless try for equality does more harm than good.

that poor experiment girl, she could never cope under such circumstances nor should the men have had to try to adjust.  Good write and looking forward to more.

LOL - that was another 'Oops' in the politically correct saga. I totally sympathize with the men on the boat - the lady was in the wrong place.
