Something about an old tree Jay. We have lost so many all the elms that once marked bounderies stood withered against the skyline, gone now your poem lives on.

That is the beauty of a tree! A seed found itself outside my fence at my rental and I nurtured it for all the time I have been here. My thought was that it would one day provide wonderful shade, the backyard gets mighty hot in the summer! And, this past fall some insensitive individual came by and broke the top third off the tree. It was doing so well until then! I just do not get people! sam
