jeff you have hit the nail on the head

your post tells it exactly as it is on all points.  a lot of people feel the same way you do, so i wonder why are things the way they are and can we change them?

I'm sure that's true with regard to gun control but his vote to deny aid to the hurricane victims is different. Anyone who would think that way is seriously ill. Now that I think about it I take that back about the gun control. Anyone who wants to be a Senator so badly that he would support laws that endanger innocent people is sick

It's very easy in this country

to buy a gun in one place and take it elsewhere. In civilized countries where these sorts of guns are banned, incidents like New Town don't happen

By that logic Corbin Dallas

Why have any laws. Rapist ignore laws against rape so why not legalize rape?

The Senator is riight on the money....if you'd bother th check the stats you'd notice that every place with strict gun controls in place have a much higher crime rate, particularily when it comes to guns.

Homicides are up by 38 percent from a year ago in Chicago, and shootings have increased as well. As of June 17, 240 people had been killed here this year, mostly in shootings, 66 more deaths than occurred in the same period in 2011..... Chicago ended 2012 with 513 homicides. (Compare that to 301 soldiers killed in Afghanistan during the same period)

Chicago is a city with some of the strictest guns laws.......these numbers are typical where the restrictions are the greatest.....

I wouldn't necessarily call him sick. His actions in catering to certain groups to obtain their financial support is merely status quo in Washington!
