When I was a kid I liked ice fishing in a shanty! It felt like an aquarium when I looked into the rectangle hole! Perhaps it's just my imagination but it did leave an impression on me! I don't think I would want to be a fish for I recently read that they do not feel pain! sam

Last evening I saw a PBS nature program on sockeye salmon returning to their birthplace to span.  Reading your poem was like seeing the program again.  You did it so well....except you left out the seagulls and Kodiac bears eating them up as they reached shallow water.

Did you know Simone that Cod almost has no taste when fresh, it is how I prefer it to be.

We do have the Lemon sole frozen these days no slabs where it once was laid out fresh.

I am having coffee time over here. Sorry I missed your posts, but I canceled my subscription before I got to say goodbye (somehow I thought I would be able to before I clicked the button) so I opened it up again and I guess you all will be stuck with me for another month...Like the poem today.
