Very funny! I never know what to do with the damn thing either, and I certainly wouldn't stick an IUD in it! I just use it to heat the milk for my latte...

I like the menu on my microwave, tells how long to reheat soup,
or bake a potato, etc. The popcorn button is for a full size packet of Orville's best. There's no spec for baking IUDs, tho.

What a funny post! When I first saw IUD I laughed and was happy to see that you saw the humor, too! My kids had a tendency to overheat food when using the microwave so I bought a cover to put over the food that rests on the tray and thus I confined the mess! He must have had one tough time getting it cleaned because I envisioned it be in every spot especially the darn corners! sam

Yep, the "cooking times" will always vary from the older models to the newer ones. Of course the older ones were much better! I guess your son had to learn the hard way! At least he cleaned up after himself!

Re: Kabu
Back in those days it cost us more than $500. I guess they had to make them to last if they were going to charge that much. LOL

You certainly got a lot of time from that microwave. We are on our second
one since I got here. Wiley had a really old one in good working order but little Miss fussy pants had to have a new safer faster...which died last year and had to be replaced.

wow that is a long time for a microwave to last, its hard to find anything anymore that will last that long, I can relate to the power I had a new one when I came here but exchanged it with my daughter and gave it to my son and bought myself a new one and it is really powerful

This had me laughing too, I still am. I just can't imagine what Chicken Little was going to do with that particular apparatus. You are such a good Mama!

Read the instructions , Arthur is always telling me. Perhaps you could give this hint to Son. Tell him you thought of it.
