Both a battle of wills, as well as a battle of wits . . . with that poor ball in the middle! Who will persevere? To be continued, I assume . . .

I like to read about your doggy Naut I would love one but it is not convenent here these days. Seems like Ben issues a little challenge scoops the ball and does a victory run.

I love to read these Ben stories. Always reminds me of my
daughter, who just bought a Yorkie pup because she so missed the other one who passed away a few months ago. The new one is called Liberty, and according to daughter, the dog is crazy. She runs like a windup toy until she stops, and then she sleeps wherever she is. She brought my daughter's laugh back after a sad year.

LOL - Smooch and Ben must have attended the same school...or the same littergarten.
He plays that game with me too. And his favorite ball is the green, tennis like squeaky Kong ball, which I believe is also Ben's preferred plaything? Grump, being a bit of a bully when it comes to younger, adopted brother, Smooch, grabs the ball, runs around with it in his mouth, squeaking madly, then totally chews it apart...if I don't catch him first!

Naut
Intriguing, he is a smart dog or do you believe this to be the ordinary conduct of any dog in this game. I love this blog. I love your dogs and the particular way you interact with them.

I personally never get tired of Ben stories and the fun you two have is
wonderful to read. Ben is amazingly well adjusted especially for a rescue doggie...Must be all that Scotch he gets when he licks out your glass.....what....you didn't know that!!!!?
