Well of course we knew she had forgiven him the author would not be writing the story
if she had not. I wish I were as forgiving.

A great write, I think you have captured Margaret's feelings and portrayed
them to us perfectly. Crying when he died, and then realizing that forgiving him was her own release, that hate is just exhasuting....i found that out too so this reads Like an Oh yes that's right...to me.

It's like being there and watching all this from a side table. Only thing...confusion here...she tells him that she can't forgive, then a couple of lines later she tells him that he already is forgiven...or was she talking about the kids?
