Yep - got another 12 cm here. I love snow, even the shoveling.
You helped put that smile back there!

It does seem like it was yesterday, CCT.
I still miss him. He was a very easy dude to love...his sense of humor kept me going for sure. And thanks - I'm enjoying reading you all again too.

Thank you, Ciel, and you called it right.
Teeth were tightly together, but okay now. I remembered that everything happens for a reason.

Christmas was non-existent...so terrible...but New Year's Eve made up for it. I opted to jump off the emotional roller coaster - too damned old to want to deal with that kind of stuff.
The Rugrats will be back but only for very infrequent visits...until they are old enough to come on their own. But my oldest Rugrat received an Iphone for Xmas... and we sneak Facetime...

What a sight for sore eyes to see you on here again. I have missed your writing but I can see you have been very busy. I am sorry about your friend's little grandchild. Glad she is improving. Sounds like smiling things are happening. I love the smile. Keep us up to date. Be blessed.

Yes, it is certainly very nice to read you again, I was so worried. I would see, when out of thin air, you had commented, and I would go and look for you, but you were not there. Or at night when I do my commenting, I would look for you again, but again I could not find you, thinking you must have been kidnapped by space aliens, or kangaroos dressed like space aliens and now you are back in full black and white, just like I remembered you. So sad about your Christmas, but happy, that in the end all turned out just fine. I mean once you got away from the kangaroos.

It's so good to read you and to hear that things are going well! And I shall raise a glass in Bird's memory tonight, though I don't have any tequila in the house! Do you think a little scotch will do?

Happy Bird Day...and it has been snowing here all day so am expecting that
you are enjoying a white out as well. It is good for that shovelling is a great way to channel all that anger and pain...it is going to be a wonderful year. and I caught that smile and feel grand for the feel of it.

Yes it seems like yesterday funny how we came to love poor old Bird. Sometimes I feel I could have done more for folk who have died, but I guess we all feel like that even if there was nothing one could do. I hope you can catch up where you left off, and it is really nice to read you again.

Glad to hear from you again,
and to confirm, once again, that life flows like rivers and brooks... sometimes babbling, dancing and leaping, sometimes smooth and steady with more going on beneath the glossing surface than we can see.
And it never ends, nothing is as final as it feels, and there is always something, somewhere to SMILE about, even if the teeth seem a bit tightly together!

Happy Bird Day!!! And here's looking at Lucky '13.
I've missed you, but it sound like you've had some good times with good friends, so now I'll quit fussing under my breath about it. I miss the joy your rugrats brought you, but they'll be back. Great to read you again.
