I know what you mean. When I read this artical I was stunned. I have always thought of God, who I consider to be my Father in Heaven as just that, a loving Father, who loves and cares about all His children.

Oh Boy you have touched on a really deep theological subject here and I am
not qualified to comment..except I will just say, God is love.= God loves all and everyone and everything in his Universe. ..Too big for me to understand . God gave us the gift of free will and that too is way beyond my ability to write about.
