oh and I have one of those knitted hats, mine is red...I think it is a mood
hat...depending on the mood is the way I wear it.
And re my post...you may have seen a sign Post from there to Wagga Wagga or just Wagga as we lazily say...You can reach Wagga over the Blue Mountains.

We did that, too. We used these biggish spools with four nails in them and a wide-ish hole... the rope came through the center until it was long-ish enough for... something.

We used to make little ropes with wool and sew them into mats ,I think, I don't remember having long lengths like some kids. I thought of that yesterday, I happened
to see a copy of the old cotton reels and tacks in a gift shop.
