I still maintain that if people simply followed the Golden Rule, we wouldn't have to hope and wish for all of ther things you've mentioned. Or is that just too simplistic, and too difficult for people to master?

Yes, to other fish, and grown fish, small fry = snacks.
I used to float weeds on top, so the little ones can hide out, when I had swordtails and similar live-bearers.

My neigbour has fish tanks Ciel last year they produced loads of little ones. I think they get eaten if not removed. He had to get another tank, but it is a bit of a worry if they keep doing this.
