Indeed I have. That's one of the things I enjoyed in Spain very much--their cheeses.
In fact everytime I go food shopping, I have to spend a little time looking at all of the imported cheeses. Our City Market carries a really good sheep cheese in the Mid-Eastern section. No "Velveeta" for me. LOL

Re: Jay
There you are Jay a cat can be bribed, tread on its toe and it will run. A dog will forgive instantly, just like me forgiving Kabu for calling me grumpy.

Thank you Pat. I like dogs but put them in a pack and base instincts take over. I read once that several little pekingese dogs actually caused the death of the ancient frail owner who had fallen and was attacked by the pack.

AH yes - dogs who run out of time with their humans for various reasons (usually human reasons), are set free to do as nature would have dogs do, and they end up in the sights of a gun. Brilliant writing, but the poem made the dog lover in me so sad. The little episode with the orchid made me smile though. Happy New Year CCT!

Kabu is a dedicated lady, when she likes you it takes more than words to stop her. My cat is the same, she wants food and affection. She sits on my lap and keeps my feet warm all night long. I don't believe no one likes me as she does, and its nice to know that at least my cat likes me...But then , she is bribed isn't she.

Did you really think that I wouldn't comment on the cat. Please name her.
She has feelings. Cat's do talk. She needs food for sure but the fact the she is up on your lap with the slightest encouragement means that she wants to give you something in return. Some special time with her asleep on your lap. She deduces that Has to make you happy because it makes her happy. Stop being a grumble bum just give in and life will be sweeter and quieter.

I like the "real" visit to the market, and the "imaginary" run with
the pack. How nice to have an active mind with new trails to follow.
Write on!

HEY CC! Naut's comment was too funny! I loved this line from your poem! A friend of Jes' from high school spent the night and this morning we had a great conversation highlighted by this line: The world changes, we vaguely remember a different sound. It's going to be a while longer before I close on my house! It's been a long wait! But, I should be in it by February! I hope you are doing well and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! sam
