Oh my goodness. I gained 15 pounds because I ate three times each of the three tims I read this post. Oh my goodness! I am embarrasd I have drooled on my best robe righ here before this computer screen and everything. That is dinner!!!!!

Goodness Naut  I know it is the end of the world, but we have just bought a turkey breast in case Christmas should come.It is a bit late now for end of the world fare.

well naut....chocolate came from mesoamerica....it is the "foreigners" that arrived that changed the spelling....

oh Pooh on the end of stuff, I have just made my Christmas cakes

and little biscuits WSiley loves. Next comes a roast lamb tomorrow to prepare out inner selves for coming pig out times and I have to make them lamingtons. I ain't dying. ..unless it is from too much good food and wine. Your meal sounds divine and would love to share it for the flavours. Oh and the company of course.

I can survive in the wilds, but there is 2 feet of snow up there and a wind chill that is sure to keep me home and dry trying your recipe with two thick New York Strips, well marbled as we saved no fillets in the freezer for the end of the world and wait for the next ending to come and go. Thanks for the recipe.

Wow, that seems like a lot of work for an end-of-the-world dinner! Could I just have a tunafish sandwich instead? With a pickle of course . . .

Seems a shame to wait for the EoW to eat well.

I think I'll settle for a cheeseburger with onions and a pint of Guinness. I need to find a Dave Brubeck CD with "Take Five" and other classics and toast my tootsies by the fire.
