Naut
I think dogs and cats are wonderful. They need a lot of love and care. Cats are easier to care for and that is the reason for our choice to have cats and not dogs. I love my cats. I would spoil a dog, cats don't spoil that is just who they are.

Perhaps it does change a dog's character Naut, I think one has to be careful that the chap does not get overweight especially later in life. I'll keep an eye on you both in ten years time.

i had dogs all my life until I went to live in the city where I was too
busy and living in apartments. Then here and the snow detered me...but dogs are wonderful creatures and I have never met a Dog that i couldn't handle. Even ones that snarl and bite recognize me as ...I probably don't want to think what!!!LOL...good for Ben and his balls...the ones he catches of course.

I like dogs, but I prefer cats. My friend has a miniature pinscher with a similar personality . . . loves meeting people, couldn't care less about other dogs!

Some dogs don't get properly socialized when young, to other dogs.
Davy tends to worry about other dogs, and then makes them worry, because his play-voice is a growly, snarly thing.

I enjoy reading about your pets and how they respond to different things. What stood out to me is how the cat does not arch her back when stroked.

JThe big black dog jumps on the corner of the gate and says: “Aaw pet me and I’ll kiss you.” I think some kind of bull dog, Rott, and I’ve classified every name under the sun Naut. BC-A, Bill’s R®st
