This all sounds so familiar to me at times. Get the tooth fixed for sure..as soon as you possibly can. I hope you got something out of the season anyway...

Toothaches are not only painful, the causes can be dangerous! I would go and see a dentist immediately! And I hope you'll have a good trip to Egypt! It will certainly be interesting, and I'm sure we would all be eager to hear of your experiences...
