You must remember Jay we all have our bad scenes, maybe we do not feel them as acutely as you do, but I can assure you that the depths of despair are ever present in many lives.
You have suffered more than most, but many still suffer and have not the will to combat the wretched feeling. Your writing has improved dramatically especially this last six months, sometimes I feel a little envious that you can churn them out so quickly.

Of course we can't, UtahJay! All those little pieces are part of what we become, and are absolutely essential to our learning porcess here, whether we want it or not. The trick is to absorb them, ponder on them, them put them into the right place so they don't prick us with pain, but with wise patience. This is a great, insightful poem.
