Although my length of "single time" was not as long, I can relate. I guess I was a lot different than most men in that, I never considered myself a "player," nor did I ever want to be. I found myself always looking for that "special someone," a meaningful relationship rather than a purely sexual one. I lived alone for 8 years before I finally "stumbled" upon my wife. The irony was, we worked together for ten years for the same company, but in different departments, so we rarely had any interaction. And then one day, she just appeared in a different light to me, one thing lead to another, and we've now been married going on 11 years! Sometimes you can find things when you stop looking. Hey, ya never know . . .

lustor

Yes that is a long time to be alone, but it would be a much longer seeming time if you were with the wrong one. I am just blessed to have met George when I did. I was along for 12 years before I met him. I know God sent him along when he did.

well 29 years is a long time and it hits sometimes harder than others, my son is going through the same thing  Yes being alone is ok until you want a companion

I too was a single Mum when I was forty. i would have been better off on my

own until I met Wiley. Some times we make great choices sometimes not. But I understand that loneliness of being really alone.
