Hope the hedgehog is feeling better today?
Yes - in the days when a man's word and work counted for something, and scoundrels were chased instead of admired.....

Well I don't know that guy Jay, so i don't know why he made you say it, but never stroke one the wrong way, so first decide which way it is facing.

Ouch! I hope the pain eases swiftly. The poem was very interesting - it was a glance into a time before things changed...

You bet, Kabu. we don't want that there here. People are more wary, they never hear many good deeds anywhere, I feel happier today Arthur said I might have to wear a truss
he always looks on the gloomy side. A stainless steel pair of pants should suffice.

what a lovely story....reminds me when people actually knew each other
and of course there was trust.
As for your aches and pains....I dunno; I think though that unlike my lads you should keep your pants on.

I once gave birth to a kidney stone as big as a hedgehog, so I know what you mean, LOL...And I approve of your wartime efforts to keep the tea kettles boiling! I just hope the chickens recovered from the shock of having their beloved utensil stolen and didn't stop laying eggs...

Don't worry, hedgehogs are very small at birth....
But not even the Jolly Green Giant uproots trees without a bulldozer.
