I have always had a soft spot in my heart for dandelions...But I still rub them out every chance I get.

Great poem and picture.! Some of the weeds are just as good to me. I have always liked those particular ones, as well as Queen Anne's Lace and Red Clover.

Re: Nice work! and nice photo, too.
We used to make Dandelion wine taps , well my neighbour did I seem to remember it was quite enjoyable, but it was the bother of drying the heads that put me off. ^The bees have had a rough time here this year, being so wet and the stocks are weak, there was a disease a year or two ago and they have not fully recovered.

Reby RamfamilyWritings
Well I don't honestly know why some words are capitalized and some are not when they imply a certain quality. There were some old buffers about who made their mark, or rather were deemed to have. I feel the Sun as such is our name for this star or body or whatever and so requires capitalising. If you feel it is wrong, you maybe right .

Re: Wiley
Everything has to be perfect for many. A lawn is not really natural and a spot of dry weather it is finished, chin up, over the top Wiley

I so remember the days back when I had no idea they were weeds and I would pick boquets of them for my mother. I have never developed a dislike for them like some who fight them so. Lovely poem.

Nice work! and nice photo, too.
I like dandelions. Bees do, too. And since the bees are having a hard time of it these days, I'll let anything bloom that will help keep them humming.
