Vitamin C and Grape Seed Extract together work the best for me with colds in general.  Saline nasal solution can clear and clean the nasal passages out if they are a problem. Hope you get better.  Chicken noodle soup can also help.   The poem was entertaining and funny.

I have heard that the onion trick works, but haven't tried it myself. TAPS' garlic in tea sounds interesting.. I hope it's better now? An amusing poem - it's wonderful how you come up with those thoughts and can write them down that way!!

Re: If you go to the pharmacist about a cough syrup, don't get the all-

It is a cough that nearly makes one feel sick Pat so dry I assume, from what I have seen cough mixtures have not changed much over the years. Or the bugs have grown cleverer.

Re: Jay

Well Jay if it was that easy, I would just nibble a bit of cheese.

You need a mouse trap. Every time you feel a cough coming on try to take the cheese. Works every time...I call it pain over matter.

We got a nice card today ...I showed it to the Gnomes that are new, they

said well done. Love the roses and of course Ms. Dunn...now gargle with salt water, put Vicks on your chest or on a tissue to breath into and go sleep away the cold.

C.C.

The yellow roses are exquisite. Your cough makes me wonder if you have enough humidity in the house? I installed a humidifier in the living room and my cough stopped. I wouldn't make room on the bench for her mother either Bro.

If you go to the pharmacist about a cough syrup, don't get the all-

purpose kind. If it's a dry cough you need a suppressant. If it's a wet cough with phlem you need an expectorant. The all-purpose one just fights itself and not the cold -- this according to Dr. Oz on his TV show yesterday.  Hope you feel better soon.

As for Ms. Wolfy Dunn.. no room on the bench for mother?

I grinned all the way through the poem.
I didn't grin, though, at your cough.  I don't like that.  Try lemon in your hot tea instead of milk.  On second thought a mashed clove of garlic steeping in your hot tea.  (Kill or cure).
