Gin is about the only drink that I find to be a-w-f-u-l!!! Interesting history in these posts, Nautikos.

Once again, you stimulate me to bloggery
which is more useful and wholesome (I think) than drunkery.

Nautikos
I only read this last post in this series, after all I spilled more than most people drank for 15 years and been sober for 45. See, that's why I can write shorter blog posts, I dried up.

I enjoyed these posts and could have read more. I was born into a
Methodist Family and they were very strict teetotalers and thought the Catholics evil in every way including drinking. LOL...And actually I myself do enjoy a G&T. now and again especially when it is hot.

This has been an interesting subject because everyone either drinks excessively, has drunk excessively in the past, or knows someone who is drinking excessively most of the time.

Very interesting Naut. Tony Blair, I think he is not there. That stupid law, thinking it would ease drinking problems, elderly folk are not at ease going out in the night.

The good thing is, Bushmill's doesn't go bad on the top shelf
in the pantry, and I can take comfort knowing it's always there, whether I'm ready for a sip or not.
