most of the men in the middle east believe women have more rights then men....sadly it's not the case....
the men there know that a woman's virginity is sacred....her body is considered sacred...so they attack her that way

Women have such a long road to equality in these cultures. and when asked
the men give such spin on the rights of women it is a wonder my tv is still working!! Like you, I have no answers.

In the so Arab spring protests they raped a US reporter, but she worked for a right leaning outfit so I suppose you did not hear about it on the main stream news.

I must admit, although it sometimes gets confusing as to what exactly is going on over there, and as troubling as it all seems, I just cannot find it in myself to be overly concerned. Until my own country finds the time to straighten out our problems, foreign matters will simply have to wait.
