re your comment about the computers and Printers.

We us e different printer these days. I have a Canon actually and they work fine with the Del computers and laptop. Wiley has a HP. with his Del desk top and that also works fine. He was so sick of contacting Del and having to order the ink. My printer, nothing special and was not top expense and I always am happy with it.  Just thought i would let you know.

I personally don't think that the term "my brother's keeper" can actually apply to foreign policy, but I understand what you mean. The analogy I always use is . . . if your home was on fire and your neighbor's home was on fire, you would ( and probably should ) put out your own house fire first before helping your neighbor! We have so many problems in our own country right now, it would be nice to see them all ( or at least the bulk of them ) resolved before we interfere with anyone else's! That's just my opinion . . .

What breaks my heart so as a loving Alie from Australia, is that around the

World where I have travelled all one hears is hate for the USA. I say if you hate the USA then don't take her money, or ask for her help. Oh I could write a book with the arguments that I have had over many years.

Well the US policy imho is we will be your keeper if you pay the right

people and pay them very well! People like military-industrial contractors who have paid the requisite bribes, corporations and their leaders/execs who monopolize markets and a country's resources, including populations who are so desperately poverty stricken they will slave away for pennies on the dollar, political leaders who are bought and paid for puppets of the aforementioned. Think of the trillions that are made from weaponizing the world and those weapons need wars to use them, test them, on and on..Hate to be so cynical sounding, but this is the reality we must face and find ways to overcome. These are our tax dollars being abused! We have every right to demand a say.
In the case of Israel there is also an organization called AIPAC who contributes heavily to politicians to establish, maintain and further advance very hawkish-pro-Israel policies in the U.S. Keeps the military/economic aid to that country going and everly growing and the UN backing solid, no matter the actions and atrocities committed by them. Again, our tax dollars flowing to Israel and supporting the human rights abuses occurring constantly in Palestine. Same for Saudi Arabia and the oil industrial complex; their abuse of women and religious and political dissenters is bought and paid for with our tax monies and oil corp. support. I drive very little and haven't for awhile because of these injustices for whatever good it does - one small step, etc..
Sorry for the book; your post is very thought provoking!..:)
