Try doing another restore to back to original settings ...you will lose everything on it that is saved but it might save your pc and allow you to add that software....sorry to hear that...hope it works and seems you are taking it better now...

So sorry about your computer problems. I hate it when something like that happens and I have to downgrade to one hour a day on computer at the library.

Sorry I don't wear jewellery Marrise. I would see if you could get a computer locally in your position, not a chain store, somewhere you could whack it back on the counter and get satiisfaction. Goodness I suffered mightily in the past trying to get things fixed by nutters. You would be the the little pigeon waiting to be plucked. Well a happy one at present

Computers are really cheap at the moment if you shop around. Toshiba is
a great computer and they are a great price. Would love to see your Jewellery. might like to buy some.

Some computers today cost more to fix than the actual price of the computer itself. I hate to say this but, I've heard nothing but problems about Dell computers over the years ( one of my sisters had one, and told me nightmare story after nightmare story about it! ) May I suggest a Mac? I've been using one for over ten years now . . . never had a problem!
