Congrats to Our SF Jints. Operating on a Wing & a Prayer they got in on...

... the SF Giants got in on the final wild card bid. Sinking fast in the sunset. If you know what I mean. Asking God, personally, for an Orange & Black, break. The Giants made it into post season on minor miracles. A hurt and aging team, pretending...

The Giants got whopped on by the LA Bumskies, at the end of the season. I insanely, felt like thanking the l.a. dodgers for letting us win one of four.

The Giants are indeed, "pretending."

All-time SF fans know how precious a post season appearance really is.

In 1962 they first "showed up in October." They lost the World Series on the hardest hit line drive in the history of the game. When Willie McCovey really got a hold of something, it was like the intro to Star Trek TNG.

The next time SF Giant fans had "a beer and a dog" in the fall, was 1971. I was a Coastie on Guam, that year. Roberto Clemente and Company were too much for the Giants. Back then, on Guam, the technology wasn't up to live MLB. So the Giants one post season appearance slipped down my Pacific Ocean drain.

It was 16 years later. 1987. When the Orange & Black, faced the Cards and a bad call at third, handed it to the bozos in red.

In 1989 Will Clark had the best post season, Ever. But the biggest bay area earthquake since 1906, greeted the Giants. The result was an Oakland A's Sweep. Giant fans remained loyal. And their success rate has grown. The Barry Bonds era Giants, mopped up the floor with the Dodgers for a decade or so.

Dinky billy plaschke tried to destroy Barry Bonds with his stinking lies. But Barry Bonds reamed out dinky billy's dodgers, REALLY good! Plashschke will be backdoor sore for the rest of his stinking life...
