I think your first instinct was the right one - let him do his own 'jerky' thing, whatever it ends up being, without sqeezing him into the straightjacket of a 'message'...

No not as a woman but to live with a woman who is a feminist and won't take
S%@#t from No man!!!! can stand up for herself, refuses to marry works while he plays house Mum and has to exist on the money she gives him.

Well it was an achievement to do that Pat. It was a good exercise and proves you can be motivated and consistent,a failing of this most of us adhere to under the usual circumstances.

Isn't there an old saying that "words of a feather flock together." Or is it that "a word in time saves nine?" I think a "little word told me you'd be happy" when you are all done and published and selling.

So interesting, Pat!
Rough times do toughen us up but I guess they add spice (bittersweetness?) to our existence. I pray I at least learn something/have learned something worthwhile from the challenges. Writing them into a story may be a painful re-living. Whatever you decide, best wishes and my kudos remain for meeting the word count..:)
