I LIKE that. Adversities sure give us the strength......someone sent me
this sms which you may find interesting....."There is no wine if grapes are not pressed. No pefume if flowers are not crushed. If you feel any pressure in life, it means God is bringing the best out of you.". Cheers!

As my daughter once said "The one thing I have learned is that I never learn!". Sometimes we need to do what you did - step back and take stock. When our pause is done, we arm ourselves by lighting that internal fire, count our blessings, and take the next step.

It is not what you were it is what you become. You have a wandering spirit and that seems sweet to me.

The best way of going forward is to take it all as it comes, and not being choosy. Then, we are too busy looking at the door that has not opened rather than that which has in the meanwhile.

If you learned from those so called mistakes then good for you! many keep doing the same thing over and over and wonder why things don't change or improve....
just one day at a time as kabu says and one step at a time....it's easier to focus and move forward....god bless

As long as you advance. I think most people are "fettered" ( like Jacob Marley ), but one should never dwell on past mistakes. Learn what you can from them, and forge ahead!

I definitely am a believer in setting aside a certain percent of all income to put in savings. Whatever percent a person chooses needs to be taken out first thing and then it is not missed so much.
