good post and I agree in investing one's purchase power in home products
I think gift certificates for a massage, hairdresser, the local cinema tickets oh so many great ideas if you stop to think. The local garden nursery for plants a gift of wood for someone's fire...on and on I can think. local artists ....there is another...
