KMy mother would have been about that age. Colitis spread though her whole body. It stopped working at 85 on December 10, 2003. I wrote a paper on my grief for class. It’s a working process. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

This seems like a wholesome sadness, and a necessary grieving.

I can quite understand this, and I realise it has been subconsciously this
way with me too. I totally empathise.

Wonderful post. In expressing your own feelings, your own grief, you have shown what most of us feel and do when we lose someone we love. I can imagine how much you loved your mother and how much you will miss her, but it is so much better to revel in the good and positive and to be thankful for the love that passed both ways. God bless you.

I am sorry to learn about the sad demise of your mother, and that in her last moments she did nit suffer but felt the love of the dear ones is a proof of her being a great soul.
