you are a great Mentor for this little boy...someone outside his family
unit who can talk to him on the subjects that really interest him.

I love your library posts. I guess that's because I love libraries.

Re: Ciel
Wow!!! Did you ever get to meet him? I'm so impressed by his life and work; he's on my list of the ones I'd love to sit down for coffee with and just listen. I hope your young friend has found the man's writing and learned from it. :)

I don't suppose you have come across 'Hot dames on cold slabs.' Pat. Well I probably would not like it any longer. You seem to have quite a little community of willing helpers around. We used to have ' Bob a job' Scouts, but I think they are too wary these days, an awful reflection on the times.

It was a shock
one day, when I mentioned Asimov to a young friend who was 27, and he had never heard of him. By the way, my dad and Asimov were friends--real ones, not Facebook.

Now that's a good author to recommend....glad to see there are children who still reach for the skies with every hope of achieving it

Pat
Sounds like a great kid! And if he likes sci fi now, I bet you he'll soon like real sci even better...
