Dear Grandma...
First, I am so very happy that you've come back to us! I've missed you and often wondered how you, your husband and grandchildren were getting on.
I am so very sad and sorry to hear about the trails you are going through with your daughter. I will continue to pray for you all. Stay strong in your faith, and know we are here when you need us. Much love from me to you, dear lady.

It doesn't change what we've been through, but the addiction to pills was the result of her self-medicating. I knew something was changing when she was 12 or 13. The doctors put it off on hormones and I didn't push. I sympathy is with anyone who has a family member with this disorder.

I am so glad the judge asked my opinion! I was afraid Daughter would get a slap on the hand and be out on regular probation.

being bipolar is awful...and to cope with one of your loved ones having it is traumatic as well...most don't stay on their meds until they reach the ultimate because when they are on their apex of feeling good they feel they don't need those meds any more....my ex is bipolar...my heart goes out to you
