That's what happens when church and state aren't independent of one another. So I guess when Islam gets powerful in the country a lot of folks will be getting stoned to death or like that.

I agree with Annicita. Affairs and adultry should be handled by, and kept between, the husband and the wife. If a divorce results, then the aftermath can handled by the courts. Believe me, I think that the bulk of the people who "cheat" pay for it one way or another down the road. There's no real reason to get the law involved!

i don't think our sex lives should be regulated by law...that is something that should be handled between the spouses and if they can't then maybe it's time to divorce...
