It is so wonderful that she survived that accident and is keeping up with her studies.  Nunya seems like a good word to me.  Is it too late for me to adopt it for use?

your daughter is a dear I can tell by the warm and proud way that you write

about her and isn't it wonderful her going back to school to do what she wants to. You've been her roll model. My son collects his MBA. next week, he's 43, and was the one at school that was told that he would never amount to anything.

Re: Adnohr - insurance compensation?

None that I know of so far, but she had her own uninsured motorist coverage.

Pat

This post of yours made my morning - what a fantastic lady! I just know she'll be successful, and I'm sure that over time her injuries will heal! I know from my own experience that the key is to recovery from that sort of thing is not a doctor, but a good therapist! And facial scars have a habit of disappearing on their own - if they didn't, they'd call me scarface, LOL!

Oh, and I love 'nunya'...

Nice blog Pat, it is almost a wonder these days when a young person makes good. Although the opportunities are there if one can grasp them. Proud of her, I bet.

That was going to be my first question - what is Nunya? One of my gay friends had a simialr arrangement with agirl he knew well; it worked well for both of them while they were teaching. He's retired now and have each gone their own way - but are still good buddies too. Did your daughter get any insurance compensation for that accident?
