I love to drive too, Nautikos. People think I'm crazy when I say I prefer slower back roads to the faster highways. Glad to know that if I am crazy, I'm not alone!

I love the smell of the sea and to watch the waves roll in, sit and watch a

son ride the waves to shore. Well I used to do. LOL but always the sea calls me.

Nautikos

"I have driven through the Rockies– they’re majestic and unforgettable. The ancient green mountains of New Hampshire are just as unforgettably charming; yet as you drive up the Mt. Washington Auto Road you will enjoy dramatic vistas rivaling those found in the Rockies, and that often allow the eyes to range much farther than is possible in the West."

Time to quit the scotch when you see New Hampshire as charming as the Rockies dude, you've lost it already.

My gosh that's some driving route! But I can only imagine some of the scenary you must have passed through. For our honeymoon, my wife and I decided to drive up and stay at various bed & breakfasts in upstate New York ( in the Saratoga area ), Vermont and New Hampshire ( in towns whose names I just can't recall at this time ). We may have been relatively close to some of the areas you mentioned. Very nice country up there . . .

Naut

That was a wonderful post. I could see all that beauty and feel your excitement as you drove through all those pretty places. Thanks for taking us along.
