I think Mrs Romney was happy he didnt win and if we went behind closed doors they probably had a few disagreements on him running.  But it tells you how his state felt about him when he couldnt pull them together, to vote for him

I have thought the most honest thing about the man

was his face, the body language doesn't lie even with training, there are "tells." I thought he looked like he'd swallowed something that left a bitter taste in his mouth - possibly a bit of reality.

In light of the extremely difficult problems the president must face in the next four years, perhaps he lucked out after all.
