I still feel that the gridlock is going to continue. I hope that I'm wrong.

Re:

lustorlove, I agree completely.  Globalization has its positive side, that once these countries like China and India are able to put their people to work doing our manufacturing and service jobs, then there are fewer fields for growing terrorists.  Of course, we need the jobs too.  Maybe the unions could compromise more.

Re:

CCT, thank you for stopping by.  I have a good feeling about the work going on today.  GOP has already laid the groundwork for compromise.  i hope so at least.

Most big companies outsource their jobs any more either by using them for lousy customer service and cheap pay or having the Chinese build crap for us.  They should penalize those companies big time

im tired of the bickering and the refusal to compromise .... the elections were over 4 years and again tuesday night....its time to put the egos aside and work for what is best for the country...quit whining and get some work done to move this country forward

I hope you are right Sir and something will have to be done to appease the forward march of pensioners, I note in China that they are thinking of allowing more children to a family. I do not think it applies to most countries, but nonworking young adults who could be contributing towards the older generation are frustratingly being denied the opportunity to work, sadly this seems to be becoming addictive and I suppose as techniques advance, the possibility of a larger workforce is not a hopeful prospect. I hope you are keeping healthy and fit, I do read your work very often, but usually it is out on my scope of knowledge.

I will be watching with interest. Hope you are right, how nice to see at

least some parts of the World come out of the doldrums.

I don't have sympathy for Greece...saw it coming years ago when I used to be there.
